‘You can grow with Centix’ is a comment we regularly hear from our customers, including from ‘Wij Keuren Alles’, an inspection company that takes the burden off its customers in the field of safety. They manage everything related to inspections, calibration, safety, maintenance, and repairs. Currently, they do this for around 100 customers, but that number is growing rapidly. We spoke with John Rackwitsz and Ronald den Dunnen about Centix’s crucial role in their fast-growing organisation.
Choice of Centix
Before founding ‘Wij Keuren Alles’ with Ronald, John already ran his own inspection company. When starting this business, he began looking for a software package to support his processes. A former colleague told him about Centix. John explained: “When I was about to start for myself, one evening he showed me how everything works and what the possibilities were. I immediately got a good sense of what you can do with it. I also looked at Centix’s competitors, but they just weren’t for me. None of the alternatives even come close to matching Centix’s capabilities. And yes, it did cost me money to start with, but it’s definitely been the best choice.”

Ronald also had his own inspection company, but unlike John, he wasn’t using Centix yet. Instead, much of his work was manual. “Before, we relied on loose PDFs and handwritten documents,” he says. So, while setting up ‘Wij Keuren Alles’, John only had to convince Ronald to adopt Centix – and fortunately, that didn’t take much effort. Ronald explained: “Centix truly is a breath of fresh air: everything is clear and well-organised. For our customers, it’s much easier to find the information they need now.”
“Less administrative hassle”
‘Wij Keuren Alles’ has only recently started using Centix and is still in the early stages of usage. However, the benefits are already becoming quite noticeable.
One of the main benefits ‘Wij Keuren Alles’ has experienced with Centix is the reduction in time spent on administrative tasks. “By optimising our work processes with Centix, we’ve realised significant time savings,” says John. “These days, we request as much information as possible from our customers in advance and easily import it into Centix. This allows us to verify the data on the work floor during the first year. Has everything been imported correctly? Is everything in the right place? By the second year, we can move through it almost blindly, saving us an enormous amount of time.” Ronald adds, “It used to take me half a day to complete the week’s administration, but now we’ve significantly reduced that burden. We spend much more time on the work floor itself and far less on paperwork.”
Besides the significant time savings Centix has provided to ‘Wij Keuren Alles’, John and Ronald view it as a key factor behind their growth. John states, “I believe we can continue this growth, especially thanks to Centix. It allows us to stand out from the competition.” The support from the Centix team is considered a major advantage by the gentlemen of ‘Wij Keuren Alles’ as well. Ronald shares, “We appreciate Centix’s excellent support. When we encounter challenges or have new ideas, we can always reach out to Centix. They are always ready to collaborate and assist us.”

Phase 2: Offering a broader package
Given the rapid growth that ‘Wij Keuren Alles’ is experiencing, it makes sense to consider moving to phase two. They aim to maximise Centix to provide their customers with the best possible service. What does phase two look like for them? “We hope to acquire the workflow module and QR code labels, including a printer, in the near future,” says Ronald. By doing so, Ronald and John will be able to offer an even broader package. They also plan to implement automatic notifications, object alerts, for the expiry of inspection dates.
Conclusion
John and Ronald view Centix as a valuable tool for efficiency and time savings, as well as an essential part of their growth. “Without Centix, we would be back in the Stone Age,” they say with a laugh. If it was up to them, they would wholeheartedly recommend Centix. “Centix gets five stars from us!”
