Inspection and maintenance of climbing equipment
Different types of climbing equipment are subject to different standards and inspection requirements. For example, ladders and steps fall in the Netherlands under the NEN 2484 standard, while mobile scaffolding is subject to the Dutch NEN-EN 1004-1 standard. Regular inspections are essential to identify damage, wear and unsafe situations in time and to ensure the safety of climbing equipment.

Ladders and steps (NEN 2484)
The maintenance and inspection plan for ladders and steps includes all inspection points required to perform an inspection according to the Dutch NEN 2484 standard.
During the inspection, components such as stiles, rungs, connections and stability features are checked. After completion of the inspection, an inspection certificate is automatically generated.
Mobile scaffolding (NEN 1004-1)
With the maintenance and inspection plan for mobile scaffolding, you can easily perform periodic inspections in accordance with Dutch standard NEN 1004-1. The inspection plan includes clear inspection points for items such as side frames, working platforms, guardrails and castors. Deviations can immediately be recorded digitally, including remarks and photos.
In practice, this plan is commonly used for annual inspections.
