Equipment management with Centix
Equipment gets lost, inspections expire and nobody knows exactly where items are located. Especially when equipment is moved daily between tradesmen, projects, vehicles and warehouses, maintaining overview becomes difficult.
Â
With Centix, you manage your equipment centrally and digitally. You always know where equipment is located, who is using it, when maintenance is required and whether inspections are still valid. This helps you stay in control of your equipment, prevent unnecessary costs and ensure tradesmen always have access to safe and operational tools and equipment.
Â
With Centix Online, you can easily register, track and inspect equipment, both visually and electrically in accordance with PAT testing standards. Combined with Centix OnSite and QR codes, you can work fully digitally on the work floor without paper inspection forms or separate Excel files.
Â
Centix supports organisations every day in managing tools, machines, vehicles, PPE and other company equipment.
Benefits of Centix
- Less equipment loss: Because equipment is registered and assigned, you always know where items should be and who is using them. This reduces the risk of equipment getting lost or uncontrolled distribution across projects, vehicles and employees.
- More accountability on the work floor: Assigning equipment to employees creates clarity around usage and responsibility. Tradesmen have access to the right tools and equipment without overloaded vans or duplicate issuing.
- Lower unnecessary costs: Because you have insight into how much equipment is available and where it is located, new equipment is less likely to be purchased unnecessarily while it is already available within the organisation.
- Timely inspections and maintenance: Automatic notifications help employees and equipment managers carry out maintenance and inspections on time. This ensures equipment remains safe to use and compliant with regulations and standards.
- Direct access to inspection certificates: By scanning QR codes on equipment, inspection certificates, maintenance records and manuals are instantly available. Ideal during audits or work on-site.
- Insight into quality and malfunctions: By centrally recording maintenance and inspection history, you gain insight into defects, malfunctions and service life. This helps identify which brands or types of equipment cause issues more frequently.

During a product demonstration, we will show you how Centix is used in practice and how you can centralise and digitise your equipment management processes.
Depending on your situation, we will guide you through the possibilities of Centix in approximately 30 to 60 minutes.
Manage your equipment centrally
Issuing equipment
As an equipment manager or warehouse employee, you can easily assign equipment to tradesmen, projects, vehicles or warehouses. This ensures everyone within the organisation knows who is using which equipment. By properly registering equipment and assigning it to users, greater accountability is created on the work floor and items are less likely to get lost.
With Centix OnSite, you can easily move equipment between different locations. By using QR code labels on equipment, employees can instantly access manuals, certificates and maintenance information.
Lending equipment between employees
In practice, equipment regularly gets lost because tradesmen lend items to each other. This creates uncertainty about who is responsible and where the equipment is located.
With Centix OnSite, employees can easily hand over equipment digitally to a colleague using the move basket. The colleague digitally signs for the transfer immediately, after which the equipment is automatically assigned to their name. This ensures you always know where the equipment is located.
Would you like to restrict certain functionalities? With security roles, you can define exactly who is allowed to move or manage equipment.
Charging equipment costs to projects
When equipment costs need to be charged to projects, the Centix order module fully supports this process.
Through the Centix webshop, foremen can easily create orders for required equipment, PPE and tools. After issuing, the equipment is automatically linked to the correct project, allowing costs to be charged directly to that project. This provides immediate insight into usage, issuing and project costs.

Inspection of equipment
Visual inspection
With Centix OnSite, you can perform visual inspections quickly and clearly. By scanning the QR code on the equipment, the correct inspection opens immediately and you can work through the checklist step by step.
Centix includes a large number of maintenance and inspection plans as standard. In addition, existing checklists can be customised or completely new inspection plans can be created, ensuring they match your organisation and inspection process.
During the inspection, deviations can easily be recorded. It is also possible to add notes and take photos in which deviations can be marked directly. This helps inspections to be carried out more consistently while keeping important information centrally available.
After completion, Centix automatically updates the inspection status and validity date of the equipment. An inspection certificate is also generated immediately, ensuring it always remains clear which equipment is approved and ready for use.
PAT testing
Electrical equipment must be inspected periodically in accordance with PAT testing requirements. For many organisations, this can be a time-consuming administrative process.
Centix supports this process by importing measurement data directly from the PAT tester. Once the measurement results have been imported, the inspection status and validity date are automatically updated. In addition, Centix immediately generates an inspection certificate including the corresponding measurement values. This reduces administrative work and keeps inspection data centrally available and easy to access.
Automatically generate inspection certificates
After completing an inspection, Centix automatically generates an inspection certificate containing all relevant information, including inspection results, measurement values, validity dates and equipment details.
Certificates are immediately available digitally and can easily be accessed during audits, inspections or work on-site.
Certificates from external inspections can also easily be linked to the correct equipment, ensuring all inspection documentation remains centrally available within one system.
Easily report service requests
With Centix OnSite, employees can easily report malfunctions and service requests directly from the work floor. By scanning the QR code on the equipment, the correct form opens immediately, allowing damage or malfunctions to be recorded straight away.
Employees can also add photos, videos and additional comments, ensuring issues are clearly documented. The back office instantly receives all relevant information to process the service request quickly. This helps resolve malfunctions faster and keeps equipment operational.
Service requests are part of the Centix workflow management module.
