Equipment lending as equipment manager
As an equipment manager or warehouse employee, Centix allows you to easily assign equipment to tradesmen, projects, warehouses, or vehicles. This ensures that everyone in your organisation always knows who is responsible for which equipment. By assigning the equipment by name and registering it properly, you place the responsibility with the users. This prevents items from getting lost and ensures that everything remains neat and tidy.
Our user-friendly app Centix OnSite makes it easy to move equipment between different locations. Want to make the process even easier? Then stick a Centix QR code sticker on the equipment. This allows your employees to request manuals and certificates directly and makes moving equipment even more efficient.
On-lending equipment
When it comes to equipment management, equipment often gets lost or becomes untraceable because tradesmen on-lend it to colleagues. With Centix OnSite, the employee currently holding the equipment can easily transfer it to a colleague via a move basket. The colleague can digitally sign this transfer, immediately registering the equipment in their name.
Prefer not to use this option or others? In Centix, you can create various security roles and set them in detail. This gives you control over who can or cannot move tools.
Charging cost in the equipment loan process
If you want to pass on costs when lending out equipment, for example to a specific project, the use of the order module is required. An important part of this order module is the Centix webshop, which is mainly used to support internal contractors. Create a shopping basket with the required equipment and confirm the order. After the equipment has been issued, it can easily be charged to the relevant project. Contractors can also place their own orders for equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), or tools they need via the clearly laid-out catalogue in the webshop.

Inspection of equipment
Visual inspection
Centix supports equipment managers with a wide range of standard checklists designed for convenience and precision during visual inspections. Use Centix OnSite to perform the inspection: scan or search for the equipment, select the relevant inspection plan, and follow the standard checklists. Checking off questions is quick and effortless. In case of discrepancies, you can easily select them from a standard list to minimise manual work. Moreover, you can add notes and take photos, easily marking deviations on the photo before completing the inspection. Centix automatically updates the status and validity date of the equipment while automatically generating an inspection certificate.
PAT testing
Eelectrical work equipment must be inspected regularly. For equipment managers, this is a time-consuming responsibility. Centix offers an automated solution where measurement data are read directly from the PAT tester. Once the measurement results are imported, the status and validity date of each piece of work equipment are updated in Centix. For each inspected piece of work equipment, Centix automatically generates a certificate with detailed measurement values.
Efficient certificate generation
In Centix, certificate generation is one of the key benefits of the inspection process. The platform offers a wide range of standard checklists and associated reports for both visual and electrical inspections. Moreover, in Centix, you can create your own inspection checklists and customise reports according to your specific needs. Thanks to the import function, you can quickly and effortlessly integrate external inspection results into Centix, whether for individual inspections or batch processing. Easily submit service requests
At Centix, we not only simplify inspections but also maintenance management. With Centix OnSite, employees can easily submit malfunction reports and service requests. For example, if an employee causes damage to a trailer, they can simply scan the QR code on the trailer to effortlessly submit a service request. They can even add videos and photos to accurately document the damage. The back office receives all the essential information to begin working on the service request immediately. This functionality is part of Centix’s workflow management module.
