Single Sign-On (SSO) in Centix
With Single Sign-On (SSO), users log in using a single central account. This means employees no longer need to remember separate login credentials for each application and can access multiple applications with the same sign-in.
Organisations often implement SSO to improve user convenience while strengthening security. Users have fewer passwords to manage, while organisations retain central control over access and user administration.
Popular identity providers include Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) and Okta.

How does Single Sign-On work in Centix?
Centix supports Single Sign-On as a standard feature. Users can securely access Centix through their organisation’s identity provider.
During configuration, organisations can determine:
- which users are granted access;
- which security roles are assigned;
- which relations are assigned automatically.
This ensures that access to Centix aligns with the organisation’s existing user and authorisation management processes.
SSO configuration in Centix is performed through a setup wizard. During this process, default security roles and relations can automatically be assigned to new users.
When organisations use role assignments from their identity provider, users and permissions can automatically be linked to the correct roles within Centix. If a role or relation provided by the identity provider does not yet exist in Centix, a user may not be created automatically. In such cases, a notification is displayed so the configuration can be reviewed.
Centix supports identity providers based on OpenID Connect.
Implementation and support
SSO is available as a standard feature within Centix. However, configuration and implementation support are not covered under the standard support agreement.
