Cookies, or similar techniques, we use
Our website www.centix.com does not work on all function points without cookies. For example, without cookies you cannot log in to our website and we are not able to show or adjust functions in logged-in areas, such as notifications. The programming technology behind our website (.NET) simply needs cookies.
In addition, we use one external component (Google Analytics) to record your behavior on our website. We do this to better analyse which pages are read, what the search behavior is like, how often you visit our website, and so on. We try to do this as anonymously as possible and are absolutely not looking for data that can be traced back to individuals. By using inPrivate / inCognito in your web browser you ensure that this type of data is not sent to us. We therefore mainly use cookies so that we can put the correct information on our website.
We have set a retention period of 14 months in Google Analytics. We opted for a retention period of 14 months (the lowest possibility) to compare trends in the same period over one year. An shorter period is not possible.
Clarity
A cookie has been placed on our website by Clarity, as part of their analytics tools. We use Clarity to track how visitors use the site and to receive reports. This information allows us to continuously improve the website to ensure a better user experience for future visitors.
Leadinfo
We use Leadinfo. The tool recognises company visits to our website based on IP addresses and shows us publicly available information, such as company names or addresses. In addition, Leadinfo places two first-party cookies to evaluate business user behavior on our website and processes domains from form entries to correlate IP addresses with companies and improve services. We use Leadinfo to actively improve the website for greater ease of use for future visitors. In addition, through Leadinfo we gain insight into the ratio of new and existing customers on the website.
View, edit or delete data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Centix and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organisation mentioned by you.
You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data to sales@centix.com or via the contact form.
To ensure that the request has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. If you withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data, this will also lead to your data being removed from our files.
If you have a complaint about the way in which we have handled your personal data, please contact Mrs. C. de Rooij (cderooij@centix.com). She will then deal with your complaint and look for a solution with you. Centix would also like to point out that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you are dissatisfied with the way in which we have handled your personal data. This can be done by this link.
How we protect personal data
Centix takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact Mrs. C. de Rooij (cderooij@centix.com). Centix has, among other things, taken the following measures to protect your personal data:
- Security software, such as a virus scanner and firewall
- TLS (formerly SSL). We send your data via a secure internet connection. You can see this by the address bar "HTTPS" and the padlock and the address bar.
- DKIM, SPF and DMARC are three internet standards that we use to prevent you from receiving e-mails on our behalf that contain viruses, are spam and are intended to obtain personal (login) data.
- DNSSEC is an extra security (additional to DNS) for resolving a domain name to the associated IP address (server name); it is provided with a digital signature. You can have that signature checked automatically. This way we prevent you from being redirected to a false IP address.
