Work items

The work items module forms the foundation of the work management solution. It enables you to manage requests, maintenance, inspections and recurring work from one central platform.
Work items can be created manually or automatically and configured to match your processes. Extensive coding options, statuses and centralised communication ensure that all relevant information remains clearly linked to each work item.
The module also makes it easy for employees, customers and business partners to submit service requests and fault notifications. Photos, documents, notes and other relevant information can be added when submitting a request. Each submission is then automatically created as a work item.
The module can be used independently to register and manage work, or as the foundation for planning, execution and invoicing within Centix.
Planning board, Work orders & Centix Smart Work

This module enables you to plan engineers, equipment and work from one central platform. Depending on your way of working, work items can be scheduled using the kanban board for sequence-based planning or the planning board for time-based planning. This ensures that planners, engineers and inspectors always have an up-to-date schedule and clear insight into available capacity.
Work orders form the basis for carrying out work and can easily be scheduled, assigned and managed. Work items can either be scheduled directly or combined into a single work order when multiple tasks are carried out during the same visit. The planning board also supports the scheduling of engineers, equipment, pick lists and transport assignments.
Scheduled work is immediately available in Centix Smart Work, our mobile work order app. Engineers and inspectors always have access to their current schedule and all the information they need to carry out work digitally. This creates a seamless connection between work registration, planning and execution.
Time recording

The time recording module gives you clear insight into both planned and actual hours across your organisation. Employees can easily record hours worked and travel time against work items and work orders.
The module supports recording estimated hours and materials, allowing you to compare planned values with the actual hours worked and materials used during the execution of work.
Working time categories, work schedules, working days and working hours can all be configured to suit your organisation. Breaks can also be processed automatically based on the configured work schedules, ensuring that planning and time recording accurately reflect the way your organisation operates.
Invoicing

The invoicing module makes it easy to convert work items and work orders into invoices.
Hours worked, materials used and completed work can be processed directly for invoicing, creating a seamless connection between field operations and administration. Invoices can then be sent to the customer and transferred to your accounting system for further processing.
Centix can also be integrated with your existing accounting software.
Contracts
C4-CON-04-01
The contracts module enables you to expand your service organisation with service and maintenance contracts. Each contract defines which assets are covered and specifies the associated work, maintenance activities and fault response.
Contracts can be configured flexibly to match your way of working and the agreements you make with your customers. For example, labour can be included within the contract, while consumable materials can be invoiced separately or charged at an agreed discount.
The contracts module integrates seamlessly with work items, work orders and Iinvoicing, ensuring that contractual agreements, execution and administration remain fully aligned.
