The first step has been taken: the Centix Marketplace for inspection companies is live! More and more inspection companies are joining the platform to increase their visibility to Centix customers, but this is only the beginning of something much bigger.
The Marketplace is the first phase of a broader ecosystem in which multiple specialised Marketplaces will emerge, each with its own focus. Thanks to Centix2Centix, the new technology for secure and automatic data exchange between Centix environments, collaboration will become even easier.

What exactly is the Centix Marketplace?
“The first version focuses on inspection companies. They can register via the Marketplace and will then become visible to Centix customers. Customers can search by, for example, region or type of inspection and immediately see which parties match their needs.
This creates a single central place where supply and demand meet. And as soon as a collaboration is established, the parties can make that relationship even smarter through Centix2Centix.”

Why did you choose to start with inspection companies?
“That was actually a logical first step. Inspections play an important role within Centix, and we see that many of our customers work with external inspection companies for this. Many inspection companies also use Centix themselves.
We therefore regularly received questions from customers asking whether we could help them get in touch with inspection companies that also use Centix. There was clearly a need for a place where supply and demand could come together. With the Marketplace, we are now making that possible. Customers who are looking for an inspection company can easily search for a provider that fits their needs.
In the future, we want to further expand the Marketplace so that it becomes the place where all parties working with Centix can find each other and collaborate within the same ecosystem.”
You mentioned Centix2Centix earlier. Can you explain what it is and how it works?
“Centix2Centix is like the conductor that keeps all Centix environments perfectly in tune. Thanks to this smart functionality, the exchange of data runs smoothly and securely, as if everything were working together within one harmonious system.
Take an inspection company, for example: both the inspection company and the customer work in their own Centix environment. The inspection company registers and processes the inspections in its own system. As soon as the inspections are completed, they are automatically forwarded to the customer’s Centix environment.
This means the customer no longer needs to import certificates or log into the inspection company’s portal. All inspection information is updated directly within their own environment. It saves time, prevents errors, and ensures that both parties always have access to the same up-to-date information.”
How does Centix2Centix ensure secure data exchange?
“That is, of course, crucial. All data exchange via Centix2Centix is encrypted and takes place exclusively between parties who have explicitly given permission. Control over the data always remains with the user. We have devoted a great deal of attention to security and transparency, so that everyone can collaborate with trust.”
What does the future of the Centix Marketplace look like?
“The Marketplace for inspection companies is really just the beginning. We are already working on plans for other sectors, which I’ll keep under wraps for now. Ultimately, we want the Marketplace to become the platform where all Centix users can find each other.
Our goal is to create multiple Marketplaces within the same platform, each with its own focus. This will result in a complete network of Centix users who can easily find one another and collaborate within one digital ecosystem.”
