General information
The Nieaf Smitt Safetypat 3140 is a device tester in accordance with a Dutch standard called NEN 3140. It is a complete device for the Risk Assessment & Evaluation (RA&E). It is also possible to enter inspections of non-electric tools in the tester.
This makes it possible to use 1 tester for inspection of the equipment.

The SafetyPAT 3140 when connected via USB connection creates a removable disk in Windows. From here, the safetypat output.gar measurement file can be read directly into Centix software.
In addition, the SafetyPAT 3140 also offers the possibility to send the safetypat output .gar measurement file via bluetooth to PC, smartphone or tablet.

General information 
The (Portable Device Tester) PAT 3140S works according to the Dutch standards NEN-EN 50110-1 & NEN 3140. The PAT-tester is used to test the electrical safety of electrical equipment with a supply voltage of 110/230/380 V. Electrical equipment has different insulation classes; both class I (with protective conductor) and class II (without protective conductor) devices can be tested.

To transfer data from the PAT 3140S to the Centix Remote, use must be made of the correct connection cable supplied by Nieaf-Smitt (with its internal jumpers).

General information
The MultiPAT XE is a highly versatile, automatic equipment tester with rugged portable housing. The tester is designed for testing in accordance with the standards EN 50110-1/2 and the Dutch standard called NEN 3140. The tester is suitable for testing single-phase and three-phase devices.
- Features a QWERTY keyboard and a large graphic LCD display
- Storage of up to 2400 measurement results
- Two memories, namely an upload and a download memory (the download memory contains the performed tests)
- Extra memory space available for personal notes
- Connections for barcode reader, chip reader and serial or parallel printer

The Multipat XE uses the SSS protocol. Various revisions of this protocol are in circulation. Nieaf-Smitt recommends not to support only revision 25F.
