Nieaf Smitt PAT testers
Nieaf Smitt PAT testers are supported in our software for electrical safety inspections. We support three PAT testers. It is possible to generate reports and view them directly, giving you immediate insight into what has been inspected and certified. With our standard reports, you can get started right away.

SafetyPAT 3140
Centix supports reading and processing measurement results from the SafetyPAT 3140.
The Nieaf Smitt SafetyPAT 3140 is a portable appliance tester designed for electrical safety inspections. The instrument is suitable for risk inventory and evaluation processes and also allows inspections of non-electrical tools to be registered. As a result, one tester can be used for inspecting different types of equipment.

Data transfer to PC:
When connected via USB, the SafetyPAT 3140 creates a removable drive in Windows. From this drive, the safetypat output.gar measurement file can be imported directly into Centix software. In addition, the .gar measurement file can be sent via Bluetooth to a PC, smartphone or tablet. Photos taken with the SafetyPAT 3140 cannot be imported into Centix.

PAT 3140S
Centix supports reading and processing measurement results from the PAT 3140S.
The Portable Appliance Tester PAT 3140S is designed for testing the electrical safety of electrical equipment with supply voltages of 110V / 230V / 380V. Both Class I (with protective conductor) and Class II (without protective conductor) equipment can be tested.

To transfer data from the PAT 3140S to Centix Remote, the correct connection cable supplied by Nieaf-Smitt with internal wiring must be used.

MultiPAT XE
Centix supports reading and processing measurement results from the MultiPAT XE.
The MultiPAT XE is a versatile automatic portable appliance tester with a robust portable housing. The tester is designed for electrical safety testing and is suitable for testing both single-phase and three-phase equipment.
- QWERTY keyboard and large graphical LCD display
- Storage for up to 2,400 measurement results
- Two memories: upload memory and download memory (download memory contains executed tests)
- Additional memory space for personal notes
- Connections for barcode scanner, chip reader and serial or parallel printer

Data transfer to PC:
The MultiPAT XE uses the SSS protocol, of which several revisions exist. Nieaf-Smitt recommends not supporting revision 25F.
