Using QR code stickers, you can easily identify assets. Depending on your chosen settings, scanning the QR code provides access to specific asset information, either with or without logging in.
Power tools must be regularly inspected, a task that can often be time-consuming. Centix simplifies this process by reading measurement values directly from the PAT tester. For each tool, a certificate is automatically generated with a clear overview of all measurements.
Centix automatically reads measurements directly from the PAT tester. After importing the measurement file, the status and validity date of the equipment are updated automatically. Centix supports standard integrations with various PAT testers.
Centix provides extensive support for the inspection of battery-powered tools. However, there is sometimes a misconception that cordless power tools do not need to be inspected because they don’t have a power cord and plug.
Our calibration management solution supports organisations that carry out their own calibrations in planning, recording and managing calibration activities. With centralised registration and clear, structured reporting.
Our ATEX software solution is specifically designed to support inspection companies and authorised technical services in carrying out thorough and efficient inspections. It features offline capabilities and ensures seamless reporting.
With the Centix Online customer portal, you provide extra service while reducing your administrative workload. Customers gain access to their own online environment within your Centix portal, where they can view their assets, certificates, and other relevant information anytime, anywhere.
Users can easily submit malfunction reports and service requests via Centix. With customisable forms and QR codes on objects or locations, scanning a code immediately opens the correct form. The back office then receives all the necessary information to take swift action.
Centix’s workflow management functionalities are modularly structured. There are separate modules for (service) notifications, a planning board with digital work orders, contracts, and the pre-calculation and actual recording of products and hours. Centix Work Order, including digital work orders, is included with the planning board module.
Manage your organisation’s order flows with our order module. Handle and organise incoming rental and sales orders, then generate a picklist. Use Centix Logistics to pick the products and prepare the order for dispatch!

The importance of unique numbering
Unique numbering, every number is unique, right? This works slightly differently in Centix. Traditionally, many companies have “intelligence” in their item numbers. For example, the engraving of objects has largely been replaced by QR code stickers. This makes it easy to find information by using the smartphone in the workplace.

Renumber your assets
In many cases, old numbers are still engraved on tools or equipment. We therefore recommend never engraving numbers, as this can damage the casing of your tools, and instead using QR code stickers. Are you a new customer or migrating from Centix Office? In that case, we carry out asset renumbering for you.
What we do first is copy the Object ID into the barcode field. Centix has a specially developed script for this purpose. We synchronise the ID and the barcode field so that they match the engraved number. You then assign the QR code to the object (ID). We have developed a best-practice implementation to support you in this process. This allows you to find your tools or equipment using either field. You now work with unique numbering and can easily retrieve items by scanning the QR code with Centix OnSite.

Rental documentation
‘Simply and quickly provide documentation to the tenant with a QR code without logging in’
With Centix you ensure that relevant documentation such as a most recent inspection certificate or a user manual is easily accessible to the tenant. And of course paperless!
How does it work? The URL of the QR code contains a unique code which is different for each object. By scanning this combination, a special datasheet is shown. This datasheet can be adjusted at system level, so that you can determine for yourself which information is visible to your customer. This allows you, for example, to show data, the latest inspection certificate, technical drawings or perhaps even instruction videos.
Annual inventory check
Many companies carry out annual inspections by calling in their company vehicles and employees to inspect tools and work equipment. This is also an ideal moment to perform an inventory check of everything that should be present.
To make this check quick and easy, Centix uses QR codes on the assets. During such an inventory, the only action required is scanning all QR codes in Centix OnSite. An inventory list is then automatically generated, showing which items are missing or which additional items have been found.
Issuing tools at turnarounds
Especially for rental companies and other customers using the order module, we have developed Centix Logistics. This enables users to easily issue tools and equipment that have been placed on a project or stop via an order.
Once the tools and equipment have been loaded, the system operates fully offline. People can be added quickly and easily. An access card can even be linked to a person, allowing them to be identified with a simple scan.
In this way, we provide a solution even beyond the gate or location, delivering better insight, safer environments, and efficient, fast registration of your tool and equipment management.
Multi-language support with Centix Online Basis
One default system language is set in Centix. This standard system language often depends on the spoken language within the organisation. It is possible to make multiple languages available in the Centix Online Basis. Each user can set their preferred language and switch between up to eight languages. The standard components such as columns, filters and predefined fields are then translated. Everything the user enters (also called content) is not translated. Because Centix has a flexible menu structure, it is possible to create a menu bar per language.
Reports can also be translated. Again, the content is not translated. However, the translation of reports is specialist work for which you must be trained. It takes place in a report editor.
QR code sticker to replace inspection stickers
Applying an inspection sticker is not a legal requirement but often the most practical approach. It quickly and visually shows whether something has been inspected, until when the inspection is valid, and sometimes which inspection standard has been applied. Additionally, for most statutory inspections, written proof that an inspection has been carried out by an expert is also required. This is demonstrated through the inspection report. By using a QR code sticker on an object, it is possible for anyone, anytime and anywhere, to request the inspection report, as well as retrieve master data and the validity date.
“If something is defective, we can report it very easily using the service request form. We simply scan the QR code and immediately receive all the information. This way, I can view all the relevant details straight away.”
“Scanning the QR codes allows anyone to access all the details, including inspection certificates and ownership information for the equipment. It saves us a tremendous amount of time.”
“One advantage of the QR codes is that they can easily be scanned using a smartphone or tablet. This gives us immediate access to the data, without the need for any specialised scanning equipment.”
